LFW: Emilia Wickstead SS 2012
Emilia Wickstead brings a little high society to the London Fashion Week line up – she likes to focus on her customer and keep her shows intimate and formal rather than a spotlight-grabbing front row. However, her show this afternoon pulled the cream of fashion writers into the Connaught to see an appropriately ice cream-coloured confection of day dresses, baby dolls, teeny weeny rompers and silky shirt dresses that catered to both her va va voom customer and to the more demure, grown-up, Duchess of Cambridge types.
Amazing collection, I would love to own one of her dresses!
Above are my favorite looks from the collection.

I just watched The God Complex, and I nearly cried. I started watching the show at the beginning of season 5 so I’ve been with Amy just as long as I’ve been with the Doctor. During the break between seasons, I watched every single episode of the new reincarnation of the show. The eleventh Doctor will always be my 1st Doctor, and Amy will always be my 1st companion. But now Amy and Rory are gone, but safe and the Doctor has River in his distant sights. I am incredibly excited that River’s story arch is back on track and that the motif of a new companion is coming up!! On the other hand, I can’t believe Amy and Rory are gone!! ……but in the last few episode, especially in Amy, I could kind of see it coming. I’m going to go cry over them now……. and wait for the next show.
